It stars Jennifer Lopez, Vanessa Hudgens,  Leah Remini, Annaleigh Ashford, Dan Bucatinsky, Freddie Stroma, Milo Ventimiglia, Treat Williams, and Larry Miller, and follows a woman in her 40s who pursues a second chance in the corporate world.

Jennifer Lopez plays the role of Maya as assistant manager in a grocery store who is passed over for promotion, but her wish during her birthday was granted by the son of her best friend Joan play by Leah Remini and created resume under false credentials.  

Hired as a consultant for a major beauty company, JLo’s character, Maya, finds herself going head-to-head with hotshot young executive Zoe played by Vanessa Hudgens in a race to create a new skincare line. 

Second Act is distributed by Viva International Pictures and opens in Philippines cinemas January 30.
