Coco Martin and Angelica Panganiban team up for the first time in ‘Love or Money

Since the coronavirus pandemic existed, we have had to reassess our choices in life as to whether they are practical or smart, or both. But what if our choices fall between two of the most important things in the world, love and money?

Premiering globally this March 12, Star Cinema brings LOVE OR MONEY, a film featuring the first ever on-screen team-up of two of the country’s prime actors, Coco Martin and Angelica Panganibanunder the direction of blockbuster hitmaker Mae Cruz Alviar.

The movie revolves around ex-lovers, Leon (Coco) and Angel (Angelica), who cross paths in Dubai three years later after they spent one magical night together ending it with a proposal, but on the next day she left him without any word.

Leon, a simple guy with simple dreams, works in the city as a waiter to earn enough money to save his family’s home back in the Philippines while Angel, a very determined woman, is willing to do anything to reach her dreams and ambitions—even if it means using men to her advantage. Money makes the world go round, and unless she finds her prince charming, she won’t give her heart.

As Angel helps Leon figure out his way into the city, Leon sweeps her off her feet again. But when life happens, will love be enough for them to survive?

Aside from the gems in Coco, Angelica and Direk Mae the movie has to showcase, LOVE OR MONEY gives us an instant travel pass to Dubai, a place where buildings are as high as the skies and where people go to make their dreams come true, in time when wandering is very restricted. Let us explore the beauty of the city without leaving the comfort and safety of our homes.

Joining the powerful tandem of Coco and Angelica in the film are Gelli de Belen, Ketchup Eusebio, Cai Cortez, Matet de Leon, Dante Rivero, Teresa Loyzaga, Norm McLeod, Pinky Amador, Cheska Inigo and Rise Artists Studio’s Jeremiah Lisbo.
